What A Minerva Worktop Installation Includes
- A free home or workshop consultation to look at colour, finish and slab availability
- Laser templating of your existing kitchen, including any sink, hob or upstand cut-outs
- Factory fabrication and hand-finishing by our stonemasons, with polished, near-invisible joints
- Standard worktop runs from 1500mm up to 3050mm, plus island and breakfast bar sections up to 3050mm x 1240mm
- A Carrara White worktop with an integrated sink module (2480mm x 1240mm) for a fully seamless sink area
- On-site fitting into your existing kitchen carcasses, with any extra prep work flagged at the site visit
Not Included / Costed Separately
- Supply and fitting of the hob, tap or sink itself - these are quoted separately, though our Gas Safe engineers and NVQ-qualified plumbers can connect them as part of a wider kitchen project
- Removal and disposal of your old worktop isn't automatic - ask for it and we'll arrange it as a registered waste carrier
- Alterations to cabinets or carcasses needed to support a new worktop design, which get priced once seen on site

Derby Kitchen Fitter has been fitting kitchens across Derbyshire for around 20 years, and Minerva worktops are jointed by our own stonemasons rather than handed off to a separate fabricator, so the same team that templated your kitchen finishes the joints on site. Every installation carries a 5-year labour and installation guarantee alongside a 2-year guarantee on the worktop itself. If your project also needs a hob, tap or lighting connected, that work goes to our Gas Safe engineers, Part P registered electricians and NVQ Level 2 qualified plumbers rather than an outside contractor brought in separately. Old worktops are removed and disposed of legally through our status as a registered waste carrier, and the business is a member of both CITB and FSB.

Our workshop is based on Stenson Rd in Sunny Hill, Derby, and templating and fitting for Minerva worktops covers Derby itself along with Chesterfield, Long Eaton, Belper, Ilkeston, Heanor, Alfreton, Swadlincote, Ripley, Matlock, Dronfield, Duffield, Wirksworth, Bakewell and Buxton, plus Nottingham and the wider Nottinghamshire area. Being based centrally in Derby keeps the gap between the laser templating visit and the fitting date short, and because the same crew handles both stages, there's no handover between a separate templating firm and a separate fitting team.
